ANET A6 X-Axis holder top plate
thingiverse
The top plates of my ANET A6 printer's X-axis holder suddenly cracked for no apparent reason. I suspect that over-tightening the screws may have been the culprit. Since I couldn't find any official drawings of the ANET A6 frame, I took matters into my own hands and designed my spare parts from scratch. The design ensures a snug fit to prevent any further issues. To achieve maximum stability, I opted for 60% infill using an octet pattern. Thankfully, I didn't need to do any filing to install the new top plates. However, this may not be the case with every printer kit, as it largely depends on the quality and precision of the acrylic parts that come with it.
