With this upgrade, the X-axis belt can be easily tensioned using a wingnut, which significantly improves the X-axis accuracy. The motor is now better supported by a motor brace, while belt sleeves securely lock the belt ends in place, and belt position clips keep the belt perfectly aligned. Adjusting rings are employed to maintain the ideal tension force on the X-axis assembly. Without this adjustment, the Z-axis shafts would be prone to bending, which could impact movement. An existing hole is utilized for the tensioner bolt, eliminating the need for any mechanical modifications or edits. The original Anet pulley, consisting of two pieces, can still be reused; however, I now prefer a solid one for added reliability. Two belt sleeve variants have been introduced: the "Belt_sleeve_Anet_belt" is designed specifically for the steel-reinforced belt that originally came with the printer, while the "Belt_sleeve_flexible_belt" is suitable for a more flexible, thinner belt that I now use. This flexible belt makes the printer operate much smoother. Required parts include: * 4 x adjusting ring 8mm Fasteners provided by the Anet printer include: * 2 x bolt M3x18 (for the motor brace) * 1 x countersunk bolt M3x25 * 1 x M3 nut * 1 x wingnut M3 The fasteners used to mount the support plate and pulley can be reused. All parts were printed using a 0.2 layer height setting and PETG filament.
