I was seeking an effortless solution to prevent taller prints from hitting the heat bed wires. I also wanted to find a simple way to keep the extruder wires from getting entangled. So far, it's working well enough, but I still don't like how the wires detach from the extruder. Perhaps that can be improved later. To mount this bracket to the printer frame, I drilled one single hole on each side and used a #6 x 3/4" self-tapping screw. The holes were drilled about 65mm from the top of the printer on both sides. Be cautious not to make the holes too small, as they can easily damage the frame. I've also included the .OBJ file here, but if you'd prefer a link to TinkerCAD, just let me know. On November 5th, I added an extruder wire holder by drilling a 3mm tapped hole on each side. Although mine were not perfectly aligned, running a screw through it first worked fine. To install the extruder wire holder, drill a 9/64 (3.6mm) hole 44mm from the center of the fan hole and 5.2 mm from the top of the fan mounting plate. Have fun printing, and happy creating!
