Anet A6, ventilation of the CPU inside an acoustic cabin.
thingiverse
Construction of an acoustic cabinet involves soundproofing a 3D printer mounted on a 55 × 55 cm table that's secured tightly to prevent vibrations during printing. A wooden board is added to the back of the table for extra support, and a shelf holds rolls of filament, tools, and accessories within easy reach. The printer is powered by a compact UPS, and controlled remotely with a wireless switch connected via WiFi. A wireless video camera adds an extra layer of control, allowing remote monitoring of printing jobs and automatic shutdown when they're finished or if issues arise. The cabin itself is built using 5 cm thick polystyrene panels, providing a solid foundation for soundproofing, while D160 multi-insulation adds an additional 2 cm of acoustic protection.
