I modified the Anet A6 to an I3 style printer. This change was made because I discovered that with the A6 design, having the belt on one side causes issues when tightening the X axis belt. The belt's position creates a tendency for the side with the belt to move towards each other while the other side moves away, resulting in a trapezoid shape. This problem can be solved by securing the rods tightly so they won't shift, but I find that the I3 design is superior in addressing this issue. The distance between the lead screw and linear rod is 17mm. Any Prusa or A8 X axis will work for this modification. To make these changes, you'll need: 2 x 608ZZ Ball Bearings: https://www.aliexpress.com/af/608-ZZ.html?SearchText=608+ZZ&d=y&initiative_id=SB_20190430194638&origin=n&catId=0&isViewCP=y&jump=afs 8 x M3 Locking Nuts: https://www.aliexpress.com/af/m3-lock-nut.html?SearchText=m3+lock+nut&d=y&initiative_id=SB_20190430194946&origin=n&catId=0&isViewCP=y&jump=afs And some M3 bolts of various lengths. If you don't already have a set, get one as it will be very useful in your 3D printing journey. I use this set: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/luchang-320pcs-set-M2-M2-5-M3-304-Stainless-Steel-Hexagon-Socket-Head-Cap-Screws-Bicycle/32911387020.html?spm=2114.search0604.3.36.5e8f395bU5zpkv&s=p&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_4_10065_10068_319_10059_10884_317_10887_10696_321_322_10084_453_10083_454_10103_10618_10307_537_536,searchweb201603_52,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=01067928-7015-4bf5-9c3b-b4cbfefc398a-6&algo_pvid=01067928-7015-4bf5-9c3b-b4cbfefc398a&transAbTest=ae803_5
