Anet A6 to I3 style Z axis AneTsa Upgrade
myminifactory
I redesigned the Anet A6 to resemble a Prusa or A8 style printer, specifically an I3 design. This was due to my discovery that with the original A6 configuration, whenever I tightened the X belt, it caused the side of the bed with the belt to move towards each other while the other side moved away, resulting in a trapezoidal shape. To rectify this issue, I could have tightened the rods down so they wouldn't shift, but I found that the I3 design was superior in addressing this problem. The distance between the lead screw and linear rod is 17mm, making it compatible with any Prusa or A8 x-axis assembly. To complete this conversion, you will need: * Two 608ZZ ball bearings: https://www.aliexpress.com/af/608-ZZ.html?SearchText=608+ZZ&d=y&initiative_id=SB_20190430194638&origin=n&catId=0&isViewCP=y&jump=afs * Eight M3 locking nuts: https://www.aliexpress.com/af/m3-lock-nut.html?SearchText=m3+lock+nut&d=y&initiative_id=SB_20190430194946&origin=n&catId=0&isViewCP=y&jump=afs * Various lengths of M3 bolts. If you don't already have a set, I recommend purchasing one as it will be useful in your 3D printing journey. The set I used can be found here: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/luchang-320pcs-set-M2-M2-5-M3-304-Stainless-Steel-Hexagon-Socket-Head-Cap-Screws-Bicycle/32911387020.html?spm=2114.search0604.3.36.5e8f395bU5zpkv&s=p&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_4_10065_10068_319_10059_10884_317_10887_10696_321_322_10084_453_10083_454_10103_10618_10307_537_536,searchweb201603_52,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=01067928-7015-4bf5-9c3b-b4cbfefc398a-6&algo_pvid=01067928-7015-4bf5-9c3b-b4cbfefc398a&transAbTest=ae803_5
