Anet A6 Titan Aero X Carrier with bracket for 27 mm piezo disc
thingiverse
As I've moved on to other projects, I've added the step-files for the carrier and the shroud, and it appears to be working without any issues. However, there's always room for improvement, isn't there? Changelog 19/04/18: Carrier - Minor optimizations were made. The design has been released from its work-in-progress status. Changelog 19/03/13: Pictures were added. Changelog 19/03/08: A new carrier was created. - The fixing for bearing was changed from a circle to a hexagon for better printability. - A cutout was added for assembling without removing the axis-rails. - A fixing point was added for the shroud. New Shroud - It fits perfectly with the new blower position. - A fixing point is located on the opposite side. Right Side of X-Axis - A completely new model was created with clamps for rails (M3 screws and nuts). - The x-axis-tensioner by jgbbob8 was used, and credits go to him. As I started modifying my A6 into an AM6, I wanted to use a Titan Aero clone to reduce weight on the x-carrier. I also wanted to include Z-probing with a piezo disc. I'm using the clone from Trianglelabs, and it's working well so far. I took some inspiration from FranciscoLupin, and I started with his carrier design, giving him credit for it. However, as things stand today, there's almost nothing left of his original design, and the current design is entirely new. The bracket is a remix of m1n1m's work, with minor adjustments. To assemble the bracket and carrier, you'll need two M3 nuts and M3x12 screws.
