Anet A6 Spool Holder Filament Guide
thingiverse
Here is a Spoolholder with two versions of filament guides (one closed and the other open). You can only print this spoolholder if you want to. I designed it specifically for z-axis top plates with M8 support, found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2675116. After that, using an SD Card Holder like this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2457079, I realized I didn't have enough space for other spoolholders mounted on the Anet. This design could also be a solution for any other design where you want your spool directly on top of the Anet. The filament guide is flat to make printing easier without support. You can heat it up slightly and bend it into place, which works perfectly as I've found. You can attach the original Spoolholder from the Anet A6 using six M3 screws at the designed spoolholder and secure them with nuts at the bottom. The two holes in front of the spoolholder are for the filament guide, secured by M3 screws. The holes are 2.9mm, so you can simply screw them in place. If you want extra stability, you can drill through both the spoolholder and the filament guide into the frame of the Anet A6 and use a longer M3 screw, which is what I did. Have fun printing!
