Anet A6 - SKR 1.3 / 1.4 / 1.4 turbo mainboard case
thingiverse
I finally accomplished it! This is my first design ever. This is a mainboard case designed specifically for the Anet A6 with its stock frame to be used in conjunction with BTT SKR1.3 and 1.4 Mainboards. I flipped the connection ports to the top so you have access to USB and SD, inspired by a previous design of mine. On the left side under the mainboard, you can place a mosfet. I don't have the 1.3 board myself, but the sizes for the holes and ports are identical. Installation instructions: 1. After printing, place the nuts in the holder for the cover. It's easier when not mounted on the frame. 2. Mount the case with four screws on the stock Anet A6 frame. Use screws with flat heads because one screwhead is under the mainboard. Be aware not to shorten anything! 3. Then mount the mainboard and you can start wiring. I hope it turns out useful. If you found this helpful, please donate what you think it's worth to my paypal.me account. Your contribution will help cover the time spent designing this project. Thanks for using it! Enjoy! Additional notes There are some changes needed if you want to replace the stock Anet mainboard: 1. The display wiring needs to be changed; I used jumper wires and got it done quickly (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4009810) 2. The polarity of the fan needs to be switched 3. The polarity of the limit switches needs to be switched - in my case, only Z because skr1.4 + TMC2209 = sensorless homing UPDATE Because of the desire to add a second mosfet, I created an adapter. Since I only use one mosfet for the heat bed, I can't tell if it fits well. I believe cable management is very important due to the small space.
