Anet A6 Power Supply Cover and Switch Holder
thingiverse
This is a vital safety upgrade for your Anet A6 printer to prevent electrical mishaps. It features a fused switch, which provides an additional layer of security. You can find the type of switch I used at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/URBEST-Module-Switch-Certification-Socket/dp/B00ME5YAPK. Make sure it's compatible with your printer's hole size. To install, you'll need two M3 nuts and one M3 screw for secure attachment to the power supply. You can use the spare screws from your printer. The fuse I used is a 2A model, designed for 180 W at 220V. You can opt for a larger fuse, but be aware that higher ratings may compromise safety. I printed this part with a 0.2mm layer height and 20% infill, but I strongly recommend increasing the infill to around 50% for added stiffness when plugging in the power cord. PLA is the recommended material. Supports are minimal but necessary. Feel free to ask if you need help with electrical connections or have any feedback to share.
