Anet A6 Posi-Drive Leveling Upgrade
thingiverse
A standard Anet A6 printer relies on stepper motors to drive each Z axis screw. These motors utilize microstepping technology to achieve extremely small layer heights. However, microstepping was originally designed for smooth movement rather than precision. As a result, the two motors inevitably drift out of sync with each other. By the time your print job is complete, the extruder and bed are no longer level. This issue compounds over multiple prints, eventually leading to the first layer failing to adhere to the bed on one side. The Posi-Drive Leveling Upgrade resolves this problem by synchronizing the two screws using a timing belt. This ensures that the extruder and bed remain perfectly level throughout the printer's lifespan. Upgrade kits and complete BOMs are available for purchase at http://3dwrx.com/anet.html
