UPGRADE MAY-20-2023 Added new STL for Thingiverse user COSIK to make the fanduct (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2013199 Anet A6 circular fan duct by Paclanc) fit, enabling users to upgrade their printer with ease. See comments for detailed instructions. UPGRADED DEC-15-2022 -support for x limit switch added seamlessly, ensuring precise control over the printing process -option for securing hot end cable (preventing the heater from falling out during use) -a second model with support for mounting the PLA cooling fan, enhancing overall printer performance see pictures to visualize this upgraded model with a hot end featuring cool fin dimensions 25mm x 32mm at: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2667739 I aimed to integrate a Chinese J-hotend into my A6 Anet printer, but first, I needed to create a new X-axis carriage to accommodate the upgraded hotend. The specifications for the cooling fins/parts are as follows: diameter 22,25mm x 26mm. Original components such as the bearing, fan, extruder, and end-switch can be retained without any issues. I printed this upgrade in PET-G. In the STL file, you'll find a cylindrical support that will be removed after printing is complete; it serves as a temporary aid during the printing process. As for the necessary parts list, it may vary depending on your printer's setup. However, I'll provide a suggested list of components to guide you through the upgrade process: 6x M3 x 10mm & nuts 2X M3 x 20mm & nuts for Fan Note that some additional components might be required based on your specific setup.
