Anet A6 - Frankenstein (E3D v6 / Volcano)

It's a live! My creation, dubbed Frankenstein, is finally up and running. All I needed was an E3Dv6 standard extruder with its fan. The second fan and bearings were already in the original Anet A6 extruder. To get started, I required a bowden filament feeder. If you've got a PTFE tube and fittings, you don't need to buy anything extra - everything can be made from the original Anet A6 extruder. This carriage allows me to use the basic E3D v6 hot end block and volcano hot end block. I can adjust the height by moving the central part (radiator holder). Two sides cooling provide better print quality, with large air flow channels. The cooling of the radiator of the extruder was also made with flow simulations, ensuring a correct flow path. Fast and easy belt tension is achieved without screws. Here are some links I used: * E3D v6 kit (with volcano) * PTFE tube * 40mm fan * GT2 belt * Linear bearings (or use old ones from Anet) Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Anet A6 Prusa Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 30% Notes: The "5_target_cooling_fan_split.stl" model was split for easier printing. You'll need to glue it together with ABS juice. Post-Printing Glue the split parts together using ABS juice. You may need to clean some connections, especially after ABS shrinkage. All connecting parts should be easy to connect.
