Anet A6 Frame Stiffening System. This stiffener secures your printer to an expansive 20"x20" or larger flat surface. I employed a substantial slab of 1-1/8" MDF veneer, resting on four rubber feet. You'll need four 3 x 20mm bolts and four pieces of 5/16 threaded rod. Two rods at 18" and two at 16.5" will suffice. All parts print with minimal support when printed on their sides, but exercise caution as I cracked one base with a mounting screw. Printing flat might yield stronger results. Additionally, remember PLA and acrylic are very brittle materials that require gentle handling during assembly. Be mindful of the Anet A6's already sturdy frame, superior to the A8. This upgrade aims to pull everything down tight and increase mass, which should enhance printing speed and allow the frame to absorb larger jerks and accelerations.
