Anet A6 Filament Guide
thingiverse
This is my second project in 3D modeling, using both Autodesk 123d and Autodesk Fusion 360. I designed everything from scratch. You'll definitely need to enable supports and do a little careful cleanup afterwards. I split the hoop twice while rushing to remove the supports, so be gentle. A good infill will help, and I don't see why you can't just print at 100% infill - it's only a 1.5-minute difference in printing time (13.5 minutes vs 15 minutes) and 20 centimeters of filament. I've also included my v1 filament guide, which doesn't need supports to print but is a solid hoop. I cut a section out of mine to allow side entry for the filament, leading to the creation of v2. Prints fine with Cura 2.3.1 or using the Cura slicer from Repetier, at a print speed of about 55mm/s, 0.2 layer height, and 40% or higher infill. Printer Settings: * Printer: Anet A6 * Rafts: Doesn't Matter * Supports: Yes * Resolution: 0.2 * Infill: 40% * Notes: Use high infill, preferably 100%. Thin walls of 0.4 will help with support removal.
