People are finding a simple way to keep their Extruder motor cool, especially when printing with ABS or PET-G. Temperatures can get extremely high if you're working with these materials. The extruder motor is always in a scorching hot environment, which is detrimental to its performance. If your printer is enclosed, it's even more hazardous for the motor. To combat this issue, it's beneficial to actively cool your extruder motor when faced with such conditions. This cooling solution cleverly utilizes the fan typically used for active cooling of the printed part. One model supports the "X Wagen Cable Holder" solution (another one of my designs). The other model is designed for individuals who don't use the "X Wagen Cable Holder." In the real-life pictures, you can see the model that incorporates the X Wagen Cable Holder.
