Anet A6 - E3D X Carriage

This Anet A6 X carriage is engineered to pair seamlessly with an E3D hotend, perfectly suited for use with a bowden type extruder as seen at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3041538. The design leverages two radial fans to cool parts primarily, simplifying air ducts and nozzles in the process. However, this approach results in slightly excessive cooling, necessitating a compromise - running the fans at 70% capacity to compensate for this issue. A duct is cleverly integrated into the design to route hot end cables from the hot end diagonally through the body before exiting at the rear. Fan cables are routed across the top of the body to join with the hot end cables in a neat and efficient manner. Achieving belt locking is remarkably straightforward - simply wrap the belt around a 6mm long rod (3mm) and press it firmly into the slots within the body. The design is specifically intended for use with modified left and right Z carriages, several designs of which are already available. However, some modifications will be necessary to accommodate revised end stop micro switches - I have included suitable modified files to facilitate this process. These mods, combined with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3041436, represent the primary changes required to take the A6 to another level. On a separate note, after extensive experimentation with bed levelling, it became clear that bed springs should only possess a very small amount of tension - excessive tension causes distortion of the 'H' aluminium beneath the bed, making bed levelling extremely challenging and potentially resulting in Y bearing binding. In some cases, it may be necessary to incorporate Z end stop adjustment to accommodate this. Since adopting this approach, bed levelling issues have been effectively eliminated.
