Work in progress! (currently printed and assembled but not yet tested)\r\nEDIT: Tested, it worked. However there are some changes that need to be addressed. Most pressing is bad fan duct design - air is most likely swirling behind the vent and there's not enough static air pressure to push it from the nozzle. It will need either internal fins or a completely different design (radial fan?).\r\n\r\nReplacement carriage for Anet A6. Allows mounting two E3D Titan extruders connected directly (via very short PTFE tube) to E3D Chimera+/Cyclops+ hotend (only "plus" variants were tested with 20mm distance between tubes vs 18mm in non-plus version). Just by removing motors and replacing PTFE tubes, the assembly can be used in bowden setup.\r\n\r\nDesign goals:\r\n1. Ability to print in direct-drive AND bowden setup (intended as testbed for my experiments).\r\n2. Keep the same building space as with original carriage (Z direction is somewhat compromised, because hotend extends deeper below carriage compared to original). Design is only 66mm wide and nozzle is exactly in the middle.\r\n3. Belt mount as close to center of mass as possible to lower torque.\r\n\r\nCritical part is the dual-titan cover. Please test this part before printing anything else. It's designed to fit titan clone. When assembling, only two nuts hold cover to each extruder (vs four in original). Main gear bolt is screwed before you put on the cover and the one below that is not used at all.\r\n\r\nParts to print:\r\n1x carriage\r\n1x dual-titan cover - allows ti space Titan extruders exactly 20mm apart, replaces original covers\r\n2x nema17 bracket\r\n1x/2x fan mount/fan duct - current fan is designed for Cyclops+ hotend. Chimera+ hotend fanduct will be designed later\r\n\r\nParts to buy:\r\n2x E3D Titan Extruder\r\n2x Nema17 pancake motor (max 26mm width recommended)\r\n1x Cyclops+/Chimera+ hotend\r\n1x/2x 40mm fan\r\n2x PTFE tube (~5cm for direct or ~50cm bowden)\r\n4x LM8UU linear bearing (can be printed)\r\n1x proximity sensor (designed for SN04-N)\r\n\r\n34x M3 nut (max 2.2mm height)\r\n8x M3 10mm bolt conical head - mounting motors\r\n4x M3 8mm bolt conical head - mounting fan duct\r\n6x M3 8mm bolt normal head - mounting motors\r\n8x M3 10mm bolt normal head - mounting fan\r\n4x M3 ?mm bolt - mounting proximity sensor\r\n6x M3 ?mm bolt - mounting hotend
