Anet A6 cover for X axis support
thingiverse
These are custom covers for the Anet A6 X axis right and left support systems. They can be attached directly to the X rod with ease, providing a sleek (dust) cover that conceals the internal mechanisms of both supports. The right-hand cover proudly displays the Anet logo on its surface. This logo is intentionally open, allowing users to add a contrasting plate at the backside of the right cover and enhance the visual impact of the logo. Referring to the accompanying image will demonstrate this feature in detail. As shown, I printed my covers using black PLA filament and left the logo area unobstructed. This design decision enables a seamless integration with the printer's aesthetic. While similar designs exist online, I found them to be ill-suited for my specific printer model. Consequently, I opted to create an entirely new set of covers from scratch, leveraging my knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software. Importing and manipulating the Anet logo in SketchUp proved to be a valuable learning experience, further refining my skills as a designer.
