This support provides an even distribution of weight across the z axis, effectively counterbalancing the weight of the x motor. The left z axis supports the x motor's weight, allowing the extruder motor to be moved to the right side of the z axis and ultimately balancing the system's overall weight. I highly recommend connecting the ptf to the hotend using the holding plate adapter found below: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2983815 In my print, I combined the M6 nut with the adapter in the slicer program using the following thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1171863 Take a look at the picture to get a clear understanding. Note: To ensure a perfect fit, i printed these two pieces 5% larger (105% of original size). The second version of this support is 20mm taller and slightly further from the rod compared to the first one.
