Anet A6 BLTouch mount
thingiverse
The purpose of this design was to position the BLTouch close to the nozzle for optimal performance. To achieve this goal, the cooling fan has been relocated and the fanduct redesigned for a tighter fit. The fan duct is secured in place with a locking mechanism into the BLTouch mount, while the BLTouch mount features holes to attach the cable harness using cable ties. This design ensures that maintenance of the extruder does not interfere with the BLTouch position, and the X-axis movement range remains unaffected. The spacers can be used to adjust the BLTouch Z position in relation to the nozzle for precise calibration. If the BLTouch is mounted using the included springs, adding or replacing the required spacer is a simple process. Important Note: The original firmware on the Anet A6 does not support the BLTouch, and electrical modifications are necessary to integrate it properly. All parts were printed with a 0.2 layer height setting for high-quality results. PETG filament was used for the mount, while PLA was used for the fan duct. The fan duct was printed with outside support on a raft for added stability. A circular fan duct is also available, designed to be easy to remove from the print. Changes since August 16, 2019: - Added BLTouch spacers ranging from 0.3 to 1.2 MM with increments of 0.1 MM. Changes since May 28, 2020: - Introduced a circular fan duct option with and without print support for added flexibility.
