Anet A6 BLTouch/3DTouch mount (front) improved
thingiverse
I tried to modify the parts printed from the original design because they kept breaking on me, especially the BLTouch arm which would warp and break after a few days. To give the arm more stability, I added an extra hole in the fan mount plate to fit a specific mount design without needing additional drilling. An update was made to V1.1 of this print. A new mount hole was added at the rear top to make cable management even simpler. However, I decided not to use the cable chain as it would twist the mount plate on movement and affect the accuracy of the sensor. Two extra holes were still good for zip ties, though. The "stabilizing" slope was removed again and two 3mm holes were added along the mount bar. This should improve stability, and M3x40 screws can be installed if needed to add even more stiffness. This print is designed to replace the original part on which the fan is mounted on an Anet A6. The probe is mounted in front of the extruder carriage. To set up the probe offset settings for Marlin, use the following commands: *define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 // X offset: -left +right [of the nozzle] *define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -51 // Y offset: -front +behind [the nozzle] *define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 // Z offset: -below +above [the nozzle]*
