I had three key objectives to solidify the bed connector, maintain tidy wiring and bolster the Y axis frame. I did sacrifice some print area with the clamps, but that hasn't been an issue for me. I secured the wires at the bed end to ensure they wouldn't shift at the other end; the wires remain loose there. When employing a drag chain, wires should be free at one end. The chain is mounted to the frame using screws for the motor mount – fortunately, the stock screws were long enough. Then, the mount is screwed down to the base board. The front of the frame is also secured to the base board with a bracket I've included. With the Y belt tighter in place, there were two holes from the original Y belt idler that I used to mount the front bracket. I aimed to keep things as straightforward as possible. The chain closely resembles the original RotoScan chain, which has been around for a while. This setup worked well on my Anet A6 and might also be suitable for the Anet A8.
