Anet A6 Back Frame, Stabilizer and Motor Fixation
thingiverse
This revised back frame bracket is a significant redesign combining elements from Henkolizer and MonkeyDudes:\r\n-https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1912107\r\n-https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2284888\r\n\r\nThe changes made include:\r\n- A wider bracket that properly anchors the X axis, now touching both sides of the structure for added stiffness.\r\n- Two additional holes were added to anchor the bracket to the central crossbar, preventing bending.\r\n- A flat surface was incorporated to fill the gap between the central crossbar and the platform, ensuring a smooth fit.\r\n- Model errors causing rare slicing issues were corrected.\r\n- Some parts were optimized for reduced material usage and printing time.\r\n- Dimensions were checked and adjusted to match printer specifications and simplify assembly.\r\n- Four vertical reinforcements were added for increased stiffness.\r\n- A new version without the two central vertical reinforcements has been uploaded, allowing for easier assembly (the original can still be used without issues).\r\n- The motor stop bracket shape was altered from rounded to a corner design, making it easier to print.\r\n- Bridge parts were rounded to eliminate support usage.\r\n\r\nThe part prints well in PLA, but rotation by 45 degrees is required. After printing, some sanding may be necessary; using horizontal expansion in Cura (or equivalent slicers) can help adjust for printer calibration. Remember that negative values increase clearance, while positive values add perimeters.\r\n\r\nTightening the part increases stiffness; M3 x 20 mm screws were used for center crossbar assembly. The bracket can also be screwed to the platform using M4 countersunk screws.\r\n\r\nFeedback is appreciated; in future versions, vertical reinforcements will be moved to simplify assembly further.
