Trying to install an auto level sensor on my Anet A6.\nI managed to install it on the right-hand side from the front, but it blocked the X-axis going all the way to 220mm. This is another attempt - this time installing from the front using the fan grille mounting screws.\nIf you print out the design, let me know in the comments if it works for you, or if there's a different sensor you want to install.\nThere's a version without the grille, but I couldn't install it without longer screws or removing the stock grille, so.....\n.... I created a custom fan grille and combined them together. I've also turned the sensor mount around so it can be mounted in the center. The next step is running the wire, setting up the A6 firmware, and calibrating the unit. If anyone out there has done this before, I'll trade you my cool sensor mount for tips on how to make it work.\nThe included G-code version of the sensor mount and grille is exactly what I printed - for some reason Cura sliced it up for a better result than Repetier, and a quicker print - it includes some supports under the overhang and in the screw slots - it's printed at a resolution of 0.1mm, because it's going to be bolted on the front of your print head where you'll see it all the time, so it might as well be pretty.\nRemove your original grille by removing the two Allen-key nuts at the bottom of the fan, and then put the cool new grille in place.\nAttach the sensor with 18x3mm bolts - have the nut on the sensor end, and the screw head in the slot in the mount.\nNow.... who knows how to program this thing?\nUpdate: I've added another version with a round mount clip for the other common sensor type. I don't have one, so let me know if it needs any adjustments.
