If you want better prints and faster printing, you need to make the Anet A6/A8 more rigid with a stiffer frame. One way of doing this is to clamp or mount the y-carriage M8 rods to a solid base plate that can be made from plywood or similar material. Most other solutions I found are either too big, require disassembly, or lack a firm grip on the frame. This design is a simple U-shaped clamp or mount with integrated thread that keeps a firm and solid grip, preventing any sliding when printing. Using this design is very easy after the printer has been assembled - simply place the printer on the base, put the clamps on the M8 rods, mark the holes, and fix the printer to the base with screws. **To assemble you will need:** * 4 printed base frame clamps (optional without thread) * 8 screws for mounting clamps to base plate I have also provided a version without threading if needed. See photos for assembly instructions. Enjoy steady printing!
