The Anet A6 kit comes with the 40mm fan bolted directly against the cooling rib to keep the filament assembly drive securely in place. However, this design offers no support for the fan itself. To address this issue, I created a custom spacer/standoff design that provides proper support for the 40mm cooling fan and enhances overall rigidity of the assembly. To simplify installation, two spacers are interconnected by a bridge with precise spacing, allowing for easy insertion into the cooling rib as shown in the accompanying photos.
