Anet A6 3D Printer Y-axis Belt Tensioning
thingiverse
My design upgrade for the Y-axis Belt Tensioner. It's been engineered to accommodate a 10mm wide toothed idler pulley, and adjustable height of the centerpoint of the idler pulley ensures linear belt guidance. Note that you'll need to replace the belt connector under the y carriage with one specifically designed for this upgrade. This modification will help keep the timingbelt in perfect alignment. I've just uploaded the shortend arms, as version 1 was excessively long. This is my fourth design iteration - I shortened the thread on the arms, which were protruding too much to my liking. To ease printing, I added a bevel to the treads. STL files for arms version 2 are now available online. If you've successfully upgraded your printer, please post a picture so others can see the results.
