Anet A4 Rods Improvement V2
thingiverse
This version updates A4_Print_Plate_Improv_Adapter_R1.stl to A4_Print_Plate_Improv_Adapter_R3.stl, enhancing the magnetic link for greater robustness. This modification addresses structural instability observed in a few incidents where the car was equipped with A4_Print_Plate_Improv_Adapter_R1.stl geometry and the printer was printing while near the edge of the bed. These events showed poor transfer of magnetic force to the rods when they were almost horizontal-aligned, which led to optimization of magnet orientation for improved force transfer when the car is centered on the bed. To complete this upgrade, refer to "Anet A4 Rods Improvement" for remaining geometries (A4_Improved_Car_Ball_Joint.stl and A4_Axis_Ball_Joint_Improv_Adapter_R1), which were left unchanged. After updating the EEPROM, a fine-tuning was required, resulting in reductions of 2.6 mm in Radius and 1.3 mm in Height. Following this update, satisfactory bed leveling was achieved over the 200 mm diameter bed with the following sizes: Diagonal_Rod = 208 mm Radius = 100.12 mm Height: 207.56 mm
