I designed this spool holder because the original placement on the A3 can be a hassle to replace. It works perfectly with 2 spools, but I wouldn't recommend placing one brand-new spool on top of the other as it might put too much strain on the extruder motor. Also, I found that it only functions properly on the right side because the left side causes the filament to wrap around the holder, which is a problem you definitely don't want to encounter, especially if you're not there to untangle it. ALWAYS USE THE RIGHT SIDE. To load the filament, follow the same direction as shown in the picture above and you'll be good to go for hours without any issues. Finally, make sure the head of the bolt you use doesn't interfere with the Y-axis belt.
