Anet A2 Z Axis Brace

Anet A2 Z Axis Brace

thingiverse

Hello, I'd like you to review my design for a Z axis brace that's perfect for the Anet A2. The original acrylic part flexed too much, but I didn't want to print an entire new brace, so I came up with this solution. The extruder part doesn't flex at all. This custom-made brace attaches securely to the frame using two T5 nuts and two 5mm x 12mm screws. However, the Z motor required longer screws since they pass through this part, the acrylic part, and into the motor. As it was my first tight-fit project, I was a bit concerned about its appearance. But it works flawlessly, and that's all that matters. To improve print quality even further, I replaced my Z coupler with a solid one. Here are the printer settings I used for this design: Printer: Anet A2 Rafts: Not necessary Supports: None required Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 70-100%
