I made some crucial adjustments to utilize Ramps 1.4 effectively: I swapped the endstop plug from a 3-pin to a 2-pin configuration, temporarily using jumper wires due to a lack of compatible connectors. To ensure compatibility with the Ramps diagram, I reordered the stepper motor's pins. As I'm notoriously clumsy when handling delicate components, I decided to replace the existing pins with new ones to avoid damaging them further. The thermistor connector was replaced with a 2-pin JST connector for easier integration. I also upgraded from the Anet LCD to a Smartcontroller LCD, even though it might not have been strictly necessary at the time. However, since I had already acquired it before the full integration of the Anet firmware into Marlin, I decided to go ahead with the upgrade. To make this setup even more efficient, I plan on gathering additional accessories that will simplify the process, such as the 2020 Ramps mount. **Update (2/13/2018):** After resolving issues in Marlin and updating to version 1.1.8, I successfully configured the Smartgraphic LCD with SD support for seamless functionality.
