[ANET A2] Fan Duct
thingiverse
This design is tailored to work seamlessly with my Fan Holder print, so I highly recommend using that one in conjunction with this (since it's specifically designed for 50 mm x 50 mm x 15 mm fan designs and my fan mount perfectly fits fans of that size). A better design will be uploaded later, but for now, this is the best that can be done. Thanks. Print Settings Printer: Anet A2 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: I strongly recommend printing in this orientation. (Not shown: Make sure your supports are set to "Everywhere" if you're using Cura.) Post-Printing Remove filament with a pair of flush trimmers and some pliers, which worked flawlessly for me. How I Designed This I carefully measured distances from my fan opening to my hotend, then modeled the actual fan opening to achieve a precise snug fit. It was an extremely valuable learning experience, as I'm still relatively new to solidworks.
