Anet 8 Z switch mount
thingiverse
I recently stumbled upon an innovative POWER switch box designed by AEGGSBAERDE, which seemed like the perfect addition to my Anet 8 build. However, after printing it, I encountered a challenge: finding a small enough rocker switch to fit. To overcome this hurdle, I made a trip to Lowe's and purchased a suitable replacement switch. Subsequently, I revised the design of the box to accommodate my new acquisition. The modifications included enlarging the front switch opening and creating a larger rear hole for accommodating thicker wires. Furthermore, I added a guest (or reinforcement) at the back to pull it away from the Z motor, thereby providing additional wire room. To ensure secure attachment, I elongated the screw holes. If you're working with PLA, be aware that the retaining clip might exert too much force, potentially causing breakage; thus, shaving off a small amount of material on the side may be necessary.
