Human grasps a turbine. The main axle consists of a 5mm carbon fibre rod. A vertical shaft fashioned from an old fishing rod supports it. Hollow in design, this enables a rpm counter to pass through it up to the horizontal shaft. A block incorporated into the support piece holds a circuit board. This circuit board, in turn, accommodates four stacked rotary encoders. The bearing holder at the bottom is isolated from the rest of the structure, allowing for effortless assembly inside. The system also identifies direction using a 4-bit shaft encoder.
