Keeping your pens and pencils perfectly organized is crucial for any artist's workspace. This desk toy design takes inspiration from Andy Warhol's iconic style, ensuring that your pencils are always neatly aligned in front of you. The project delved into the limitations of desktop 3D printers, specifically focusing on the feasibility of combining multiple color outputs into a single object using a consumer-grade printer. The result was a practical yet visually appealing desk toy that can be printed on nearly any common 3D printer. Rapid design iterations and testing were achieved through Fusion 360, allowing for quick prototyping and refinement. The final model was successfully printed on a standard 3D printer, utilizing two distinct PLA plastics at a resolution of 300 microns.
