Andy Pencil Holder
pinshape
Keeping your pens and pencils neatly arranged is crucial for all artist workspaces, making this desk toy design a must-have inspired by Andy Warhol's iconic style sense. This project was designed to showcase desktop 3D printer capabilities while exploring the possibility of combining multiple colors into a single object using a consumer-grade printer. The end result was a practical yet fun-looking desk toy that can be printed on most common 3D printers. Multiple iterations were quickly designed and tested using Fusion 360, resulting in a final model printed with two different PLA plastics at 300 microns. To ensure a perfect fit, the glasses need to be adjusted for a snugger fit. The pencil holes are slightly too tight, requiring some extra wiggle room for smooth movement. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Deltaprintr Printer Model: Deltaprintr Kit Rafts: No Support: No Resolution: 300 microns Infill: 20% Post-Printing Instructions: After printing, you'll need to glue the parts together.
