This model is based off of Aragorn's sword in Lord of the Rings movies.There are two slots for rods that run the length of the sword. The rods friction fit tightly. I designed this sword to save plastic and print quickly, relative to other swords. Due to this it is more flexible than metal would be. With the rod inserts there is enough strength to swing the sword. The handle was designed to have leather wrapped around it as is done with the movie sword. There is also engravings that run along the pommel and up the center of the fuller.
