Here is my version of the Android mascot, real name Bugdroid. He's somewhat posable and almost a perfect replica of the 2D mascot we all love. He stands as tall as a credit card and can be printed in one color, but printing the base in another color looks better too. The print works fine on my printer, but if you experience any problems with your print, please comment so I can fix the model. Print Settings Rafts Doesn't Matter Supports: No Instructions If you feel like taking it easy, just download the file named Print_1.stl and print it. If you prefer a simple stand, either print Stand.stl or Stand_text.stl (stand_text.stl has "Android" written in the Android font), for both stands use a high number of perimeters to achieve the best results. Assembly: either print "Print 1.stl" or design your own layout - you'll need: Body.stl, Head.stl, Neck.stl, Leg.stl (2x), Outer_arm.stl (2x), Inner_arm.stl (2x), Pin_arm.stl (2x), Pin_arm2.stl (2x). Clean the printed parts from any printing artifacts and start assembling by inserting the legs and neck into the body, then place the head on top. Begin assembling the arms by putting short pins into the hole closest to the edge on the outer arm pieces, and long pins into the hole closer to the center, when complete press on the inner arm pieces with the long pin passing through the hole. When the arms are done, just insert them into the body. If you've printed a stand simply place Bugdroid on it. If you experience problems printing the antenna use the stl file "HeadV2-experimental.stl" instead and print two "antenna-experimental.stl".
