We created a stunning 2D-3D rendition of the Android logo by combining two source images and layering them on top of each other, based on a pre-formatted template. The Android logo is a hallmark of the talented developers who designed it. This intricate piece features a flat base with an extruded head, arms, legs, and ears, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. The 25 cm^2 surface area and 1.0 cm height limitation posed an exciting challenge for our designers. To achieve a 3D effect that draws in the viewer, we carefully extruded the spaces between the arms, legs, and head downward. The Android letters are extruded to their highest point, followed by the head, arms, and legs, while the area surrounding these features is also slightly extruded but not as high as the main body. Finally, the base is extruded the least at the bottom, creating a visually appealing contrast. To ensure optimal results, we recommend printing this model at 150% of its original size as shown, which will help minimize any imperfections that may arise during the printing process.
