Android Guy Box thingiverse

Android Guy Box

thingiverse lrdfang 10096 Free

Me and my friends started looking up things to make as soon as I get my ToM. Well we fell in love with the Android guy by xtremd, thing:1902. The biggest complaint about it was that it was solid. We wanted to be able to use it to hold stuff. So I set out to teach myself OpenSCAD and be a productive modeler and this is what came out. Due to the constraints of making it printable and having it the size I wanted, I had to make it out of several parts. I hope everyone enjoys it and post pictures of your creations as I don't have a printer yet to make it myself.
Of course the Google Android Guy is a logo created and shared by Google. My 3D model is a 3D reproduction of the logo and is shared with the world according to the terms described in the Creative Commons 3.0 Attribution License as defined by Google. creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/

Instructions
Print out 1-Head, 1-Body, 2-Arms, 2-Legs
Insert and glue arms into holes on side of body
Insert and glue legs into holes on bottom of body
Place head on body as lid
Enjoy
I can't guaranteeing how well this will fit together. I am going to say that I can see some trimming being required, as I don't have my printer yet to test the fits. If someone makes one and can tell me where to trim things down I will. Of course when my ToM comes in I will be tweaking this to fit as intended also. Otherwise enjoy the design.
