Android Body for Google Home Mini
myminifactory
Give your Google Home Mini some personality with this Android-inspired body, designed to add a fun and personal touch in a shape we all know and love. The main body design requires supports, while the other parts do not. You'll want to print one of each item, except for arm rings (2) and connecting pins (4). When printing the connecting pins, if you're looking for a tight fit, experiment with scaling. On my Prusa i3 MK2s, I found that 102% was perfect for a snug fit. I added glue to ensure the two parts of each arm fit tightly together. You can choose your favorite glue for this step. Also, glue the neck-ring onto the main body for a secure connection. The eyes and antennae are connected with tiny bits of hot-glue, which holds well but comes off easily if you need to adjust its position. Just be careful not to smush it too hard into the fabric. You'll notice two holes in the main body designed for the arm connecting-pins stick out into the inner part of the body. Some light sanding may be necessary to avoid any obstructions, especially when using a Google Home Mini. I edited the model to accommodate this issue, but haven't re-printed since.
