Fossil Remains of a Colossal Salamander Unearthed, Currently Housed at Teyler’s Museum in Haarlem, Netherlands. Originally Classified as Evidence of a Human Survivor of the Biblical Flood in 1726, This Remarkable Specimen Was Initially Misinterpreted Due to Limited Visibility. At the Time, Only the Spine and a Portion of the Skull Were Visible, Leaving Experts to Conclude That It Belonged to a Drowned Homo sapiens. However, Further Examination Once the Fossil Was Properly Prepared Revealed the Presence of Limbs, Subsequently Identifying the Specimen as a Giant Salamander from the Miocene Epoch.
