Model: This comprehensive collection includes all the decks that comprise the Andrea Doria superstructure, including the funnel. Each deck is modeled separately to facilitate painting and detailing as desired. When printing, this model is designed for a 1/200 scale but can be scaled up or down according to preference. However, scaling it down may compromise some details. If you don't have the hull, find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3402906. Like the hull, all decks are sectioned to accommodate an 8x8 print bed without requiring supports. Since the hull model includes the ship's sheer lines, gluing deck sections together presents a fitting issue. The sheer lines cannot be successfully integrated into individual deck models. To overcome this challenge, build the hull first and attach each deck separately, aligning them with the hull's sheer lines as you go. Then use plastic putty to fill gaps as needed. A detail pack is also in development for this model, set to be uploaded once complete. This add-on will feature essential details such as masks, cranes, lifeboats, and more.
