It should be made from flexible filament. The sleeve holds the polarizer filter front up to the LED housings on Andonstar USB microscope 201. You need two of them. The translucent disc on the picture is the polarizer filter thing. Update: Added the pic, the real thing this time. Simplified version2, not perfect but it works with some fine adjustment when putting it together Todo: -Give the filter more space to dive into the front portion -Add some extra to make turning finger friendly 1. Get the polarizer filters set on ebay: item No. 282571649127 2. Print out two sleeves, two washers I had to give an extra of one percent because of shrinking when printing it out using ABS 3. Put one filter and one washer inside of one sleeve as depicted in the exploded view. Push the sleeve gently over the front ring. Once you have installed the sleeves (with the filters) you may adjust the polarizer orientation. Turn the sleeves clockwise every time then the ring on the LED housing will not become loose anymore. If you are unhappy with the big tolerances the ring was machined with, wrap a small piece of thin Teflon tape around the thread.
