Anderson/Powerpole wall plate

From the creators of HamStudy.org, here's a fully customizable wall plate for Anderson/Powerpole connectors. You can easily make it accommodate as many connectors as possible on a single-gang plate. To ensure the retaining pin holds the connectors firmly in place, use a 12AWG solid wire - typically a scrap from a Romex 2+1 copper ground wire will do. Stick it through and bend it slightly at the top and bottom for optimal results. This customizable wall plate is incredibly versatile; experiment with different settings to unlock its full potential. Check out some photos for inspiration on what you can achieve. Here are some ideas to get you started: Disable screw holes by setting plate_screw_shank to 0. Make it a flat plate by setting plate_depth and plate_thickness equal, optionally disabling rounded corners by setting plate_corners to 0. Convert it into a panel mount Powerpole block by: Setting depth and thickness to 1 or 2 Decreasing screw_distance Reducing plate_width and plate_height to your desired size Set plate_border to 0 (optional, but may help in some cases to allow for smaller designs) With customizable options available, you can create up to 3 boxes with any configuration within those boxes. I used it to design a wall plate for 2 three-pin connectors, which are perfect for my ham radio communications trailer's 24Vdc power supply. You can use it for anything you want. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Choose from a wide range of options Infill: Infill is less important than wall width; aim for something thick-ish (I used 2mm) Notes: Printing this design is relatively easy; the settings you choose will determine its appearance and strength when completed. I prefer thicker walls to prevent delamination, but that's my preference.
