Need a Spool Holder for My Printer, so I Chose this Awesome Design. This Customized Version Includes Some Enhancements and Notes that Made Printing and Assembly Much Easier as Well as a Parametric Spool Holder Created in OpenSCAD.InstructionsThis spool holder has been designed with the existing spool in mind which measures 16.5cm in diameter and 9.5cm deep so all measurements are based around this.Parts:\nM8 Rod (156cm)\nM8 Nuts x 26\n608 Bearings x 2Print Spool.stl\nUpdate variables in Holder.scad, export STL and print or alternatively print Holder.stl which includes a spindle hole of 8mm diameter and 33mm spool shaft.\nFirst Assemble the two A-Frames as shown using a rod section 20cm long for the base and 2 x 15cm sections for the diagonals. I found that using four spare rods to secure frame corners made alignment easier.\nReplace the temporary supports going length-wise with threaded rods of 20cm length each.\nReplace the temporary supports going width-wise with threaded rods of 20cm length each.\nDrive a section 16cm long of threaded rod through the left holder, spool and right holder.\nFit bearings onto spindle shaft and drop into their slots in frame.\nFeed filament end through holder so it lies at a right angle to frame to prevent spool from rolling excessively.
