This is my attempt at fully supporting HammerofHeaven's model. He provides a pre-supported version but I aimed for a more comprehensive support setup. To avoid starting a support on the model itself, which is too complex to completely achieve, I came close. Please note that the thin wires coming out of the back are thinner than the small supports. When removing supports, you'll want to snip the supports leading to those wires first and probably a little back from the wire so it won't snap. It's recommended to cure the model before cleaning the last bits off the wires, making them tougher and less prone to snapping. As seen in the included picture, I accidentally broke one of the tiny cables, and I've glued several parts back together because I wasn't cautious enough. To achieve nearly all supports starting from the base instead of the model itself, I had to pack a lot of supports into tight spaces, which led to them touching part of the model when printed. I damaged some of the model while trying to remove them but it's easily repairable. Taking your time will help you cut the supports away without damaging the model. Good luck with printing this model. While writing the above, I decided to try separating parts of the model for easier printing and cleanup, which I've also included. For those using a photon, I've added my actual photon file so you can print at 0.05. Currently set to 14s per layer but easily adjustable in the photon file validator by opening it in validator and clicking save, then change the layer time to suit your resin. edit: Added Chitu file of the separated parts with support. I haven't tried printing it yet as I still have a second complete one printing. Next, I'll try the separated version.
