IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR CURA USERS: For those using Cura: It has been discovered that slicing files with Cura 4.0 and other versions after 3.5.1 can cause extrusion problems during the higher layers due to involved travels. To avoid this, users should switch to Cura version 3.5.1 and slice -2 mm on the Z axis for a smooth base. When sliced with Cura 3.5.1, the model should display a circle layer pattern at the base. However, slicing in Cura 4.0 and other versions results in diagonal layers that will cause problems later in the print. This is an ancient stone ruins terrain piece created to practice sculpting digitally. It was inspired by Weathertop and made entirely from scratch using new software. Although it may have some flaws, the piece has been printed without support material. For 28mm scale prints, users are advised to use a diameter of 11 inches to fit bases. Between 8 inches and 10 inches will also work for scale purposes.
