I embarked on my first 3D character creation project, aiming to craft a stylized knight with bold flair. However, my textures ended up being less cartoonish than initially envisioned, taking on a more realistic tone instead. My model features a considerable amount of wasted space and polygons, primarily due to the unseen areas that are unavoidable in any 3D model. I deliberately kept the polygon count relatively low, striving for efficiency without sacrificing too much detail. To enhance my knight's appearance, I employed additional materials beyond those included in Substance Painter. Specifically, I utilized a wonderful moss material courtesy of adelphia and a dynamic fabric texture generously shared by HapZungLam on Substance Share.
